Can a friend pick up my race packet? Yes. The person picking up the packets will need to have the name and birthdate for the person(s) whose packets are being picked up.

Will I receive a shirt? Yes. Those registering for the 8K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk events will receive a long-sleeved cotton blend t-shirt. Those registering for the Irish Double will receive a long-sleeve, 1/4 zip tech shirt. To guarantee a 2021 event shirt (and in the right size), participants MUST register on or before Friday, March 5th. We will make extra shirts in an effort to give everyone this year’s shirt. Should we run out of 2021 shirts, those who registered late will receive a 2020 shirt. Please register early to guarantee yours!

Can I pick up my shirt and medal from last year’s race? We’re sorry, but no. We understand that 2020 wasn’t ideal for anyone and believe us when we say that we wanted all registrants to receive shirts and medals. Extensive efforts were made to communicate packet pickup and shipping options for over 2 months in September and October for the delayed event. 2020 shirts and medals are no longer available.

I deferred my registration from last year. What are my options?  You may use your 50% off deferral discount for this year’s event or you may decline and have the discount extended to next year. An email will be sent with options.

What if I can’t make it to packet pickup? Shipping of packets is offered for an $8 fee per packet during registration. If you intended to pick your packet up but are unable to, you have the option of having a friend pick up for you or editing your registration (see your confirmation email) before midnight on Saturday, March 20th to add the shipping fee.

Why can we gather for packet pickup but not a race? There is logistically MUCH more involved in putting on a race that includes street closures and the potential for thousands of participants running past each other without masks. We are able to control social distancing and mask usage while spreading out the time needed to complete packet pickup versus a race.

How and when do I upload my race times? An email containing virtual instructions will be sent out before "Race Day" (March 21st) that details how to upload times and download finisher's certificates. Participants will then have until midnight on March 30th to complete virtual runs and upload items.

Do I have to run the St Pat’s courses? Nope. You may pick your own 5K or 8K courses!

Where do I find results for past races?  Right here!

Where is packet pickup exactly?   We anticipate having several days of packet pickup events with times and locations yet to be determined. We will notify participants as soon as those times and locations are determined.

Will there be a Leprechaun Run?  The Leprechaun Races presented by Renue Physical Therapy will not take place in 2021.

What is the Irish Double?  A combination of both the 8K and 5K run events that provides participants with lower pricing than runners pay for the races individually.   Those registered for the Irish Double will also receive a higher quality 1/4 zip shirt signifying participation in the Irish Double and both the St Pat's AND larger Irish Double Finisher medals.  The Irish Double offering is limited to 500 participants for 2021.

Can I run both the 8K and 5k?  Yes.  Runners should register for the Irish Double if spots are available.  If the Irish Double is sold out, participants may still register for the 8k and 5k races individually but will not receive Irish Double swag.

When and where can I pick up my race packet?  There will be 5 packet pickup events (3 hours each) at the following locations in Flint and around the Great Lakes Bay Region. If unable to make one of these, please arrange to have a friend pick up your packet or pay the shipping fee through registration (or using the confirmation email received when registering):

  • Saturday, March 13th - 1PM - 4PM at Bauman’s Running/Walking Shop, 1473 W Hill Road - Flint, MI 48507

  • Sunday, March 14th - 1PM - 4PM at Runners Athletic Company – Midland, 215 E. Wackerly - Midland, MI 48642

  • Sunday, March 21st - 1PM - 4PM at Renue Physical Therapy Corporate Office, 804 N Water St - Bay City, MI 4870

Further information regarding packet pickup will be emailed and posted on our website and through social media prior to packet pickup weekend.

Can one register during packet pickup hours?  That is yet to be determined.

Can one mail a registration form?  Yes.  But manual registration pricing is slightly higher than online registration. CLICK HERE  for printable mail-in registration form.

Can race packets be picked up by someone other than the registered runner?  Yes they can! In fact, we encourage participants to pick up for friends to reduce the number of people on site.

Are there finisher medals?  Yes. All 8k and 5k finishers will receive high quality medals signifying their accomplishment.  Irish Double participants will receive both the 8k/5k participant medal AND a special Irish Double finisher medal.

Are there awards?  There will be no awards this year for the virtual event.

Is there a special medal for the Irish Double?  Yes. If you register for one of the 500 available Irish Double spots and complete both events (8K & 5K run), you will receive a special 3” medal for the Irish Double along with one Shamrock finisher medal for a total of 2 medals.

Can I run AND walk the 5k? Yes, but if you intend to run even a little, you must sign up for the 5k run!  No running is allowed if you are registered for the walk. CLICK HERE to view the Guidelines for Walkers.

If my family takes some really good pictures at the race and I want to share them, can I send them somewhere? YES. You will actually be able to post them to your results when uploading your finish times.

Where and when can I find results?  You will receive an email with a link to post results shortly before “race day”. A link to results will also be posted on this website.

Refunds and/or Transfers are not available for this event. Please be sure to read the waiver when registering.
