Affordable, fun St. Patrick’s Day weekend events for the family include a Race Expo presented by Covenant HealthCare, Leprechaun Races for the kids presented by LeBourdais Orthodontics, 5K Run, 5K Walk, 8K Run and Irish Double events. Great shirts, awesome finisher medals and outstanding overall and age group awards are standard for this event that’s seen nearly 7,000 participants in recent years.
NEW THIS YEAR! The 10th on-site running of the Irish Double will be a stand alone event. Participation will be limited to just 500 runners. Irish Double participants will receive an Irish Double Finisher hoody and 4” finisher medal. There will be overall awards 3 deep for male & female participants and age group awards in 10 year spans. Be sure to register early to guarantee your spot!
Bay Area Runners Club is proud to have donated over $240,000 in proceeds from these races to local charities, non-profits and high school athletic programs over the years. This year’s event will once again benefit many local recipients but the primary beneficiary will be the Children’s Grief Center of the Great Lakes Bay Region.
